Once again, I extend my offer to the core gaming group.  Anyone interested in coming with to see the wonderful comedian Maria Bamford at the Tampa Improv in March, let me know.  Please don't let money be your deciding factor for passing up a rare opportunity to have a great and fun experience.  We'll work that out.  I really want you guys to come with me.

Hmm... I'm not familiar with her. I'll look into it. I might be able to go that Sunday night.

THIS is a good place to start.  It's a clip from the film The Comedians of Comedy, which is also available on Netflix to watch instantly.

Hey Chris, Thanks for the invitation and for posting links to the videos. I've watched several of them and I'm going to have to decline. She had some funny bits, but it's just not something I feel like spending an hour or two on. Sorry.

I'd be interested, my wife would more than likely want to come along.
I looked at prices and show times, I'm thinking the Saturday, 3/13 @10pm show would work for us.

How do you want to go about getting tickets, you get yours and we get ours, online?
I've never been to the Tampa Improv so I'm not sure about parking or anything.

I'll probably just go down the weekend before and buy the ticket there.

Parking is no problem.  The Improv is in the Centro Ybor shopping area.  There are parking meters on most of the side streets, but last time I just used the garage one block south.

Actually, I'll be going tomorrow after work to pick up my ticket.  Are you still interested in the Saturday 10pm show?

The reason I really need to know before I buy the ticket is because if you're not planning on going, I'd rather do the earlier show on Saturday since I have to be somewhere early Sunday morning.

Sorry for the late response.
I'm going to have to back out of going.
My nephew passed away last Friday morning. I've been over at my sister-in-laws all weekend. The funeral is tomorrow with a viewing tonight. I'll probably be going over to her house again this weekend. She found him when she came in to wake him up, when he didn't move, she tried to flip him over, and he was stiff. She's pretty freaked out, still.

Thanks, finally there is some feeling of peace now that he's been laid to rest.
Time will help ease the pain.
