i was looking at the truck closer and it has a way bigger motor than my other tycos.  guess that explains all the torque it has, it will go through grass in high gear.

Very cool. How much do you want for it?

So what all does the Hammer have in common with the other hoppers and Bandits? Same chassis and axle? I'm guessing it's geared lower for the larger tires?

It would be nice to have some pics close up of the motor and rear axle too.

It has nothing in common with Bandits or any of the other  cars. It is entirely different.  It has a huge rear end with a big motor. Its suspension is real bouncy, the rear wheels are screwed on, so you can remove them. It has a built in wheelie  bar/ wheel on the back and will ride a wheelie until you let off the gas. The steering thing is not a bar on the bottom , but a knob that you turn like a newer digital car has on the transmitter. You can put hobby tires on the wheels also, so you can always rerplace the tires.   I have a nikko thor 4 wheel drive, so i really don't need this one. As for price I was just taking offers.

Wow, I've never seen another Turbo Hammer, I bought mine brand new in 1992/93 from Consumers in eastern Canada, long since gone bankrupt. I added some pics of mine, I also have the original box which boasts it's turbo power! Actually I think this model is the Canadian version, there was a black colored Turbo Hammer as well with green print, perhaps the U.S. version? Can anyone clarify this? Let me tell you this is a very powerful machine, you can easily bruise yourself or someone else very badly if you hit their ankles at full speed. Grin
