Hi, Im looking for a car called the "top speed" my husband had it as a child and its all hes talking about! hes. The toy is from the early 1990 or late 1980. He said it was made by tyco and its called the "top speed" but i cant find ANYTHING on it. If anyone has any info please help! thanks!

i;m thinking its not tyco. but try getting a description of it.

actualy that was the first thing that popped in my head

top speed sounds very familiar
but im pretty sure ive heard or seen somthing like before sort of a futuristic buggy sorter like the aero hopper i think
fried my brain for most of the day  ???  ???  ???  ???  ???  ???
sort of hint to him if its a sports car or offroad buggy

-I think I had one of those, mine was a few years ago, it was a Jeff Gordon.  It would run on 9.6v or 7.2v.  They were pretty quick too.  Mine ended up getting disected after a brief stint as a crush car for a Clodbuster.  I'd consider another, if the would make a Nascar Cup Series Truck-bodied version :)

so far the info i got from google is that it was made in 1997.  of course im talking about the pro speed. and yes its fast

my friend got one to up me when i had my white tiger lol.   he took it on a half pipe and it luanched itslef clear over the thing in the air and hit so hard but kept going.

i did think tyco made a simular one but i cant seem to place it.

i found one for sale, it sayd new on it.  but was sold and the page was gone any ways.
